Clinics, Lessons and Practice:
If you are new to golf, just returning after a long absence, or looking to improve your game, you may want to take advantage of one or more of the upcoming opportunities below. More details are included in the attached 2012 Education Programs. All classes and clinics are highly recommended by the EWGA Baltimore Regional Chapter Education Chair, Sharon Guida. When you sign up for lessons, tell them that you are an EWGA member. Most programs supply free range balls to students.
While you are taking lessons you can join us on Tuesdays at the Driving Range at Arundel Golf Center starting May 1st or on Mondays at Pine Ridge starting on May 7th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This is a great place for you to meet your mentor or mentee.
There will be a beginner’s league 9-hole play at Forest Park Golf Course. Please click on the "Leagues" tab above for details.
And don’t forget to sign up for the 2 hour clinic as an alternative to golf, and or the 9 hole play option, at the Special Golf Outings which are scheduled throughout the year. You can take a lesson and then meet the golfers afterward to socialize. The first outing of the year is at Chesapeake Bay Outing in Rising Sun on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Click on the "Events" tab above for more details about this outing.
If you have any questions about these or additional opportunities, please contact Sharon Guida.
